Old Louisville Stay offers an SMS (text messaging) program to enhance your guest experience by providing timely information and support related to your reservation and stay. By opting in to receive SMS messages from us, you agree to these SMS Terms of Service.

2. Consent to Receive SMS Messages

By providing your mobile phone number through our website, booking form, or other communication channel and opting in to SMS communications, you expressly consent to receive text messages from Old Louisville Stay at the phone number you provide.

Important: Consent is Not a Condition of Purchase

You do not need to consent to receive SMS messages as a condition of purchasing services from Old Louisville Stay. You may make reservations and receive accommodations without opting in to SMS communications. Standard booking confirmations and essential reservation details will still be sent via email.

3. Types of Messages You May Receive

After opting in, you may receive SMS messages related to your stay, including but not limited to:

  • Pre-Arrival Information: Welcome messages, check-in instructions, and property details
  • Access Details: Door codes, parking instructions, and entry information
  • Guest Services: Breakfast schedules, dietary preference requests, and amenity information
  • On-Call Support: Responses to your inquiries and assistance during your stay

We do not send marketing or promotional messages via SMS. Our SMS program is designed solely to enhance guest service and provide operational support related to your stay.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your reservation and the services you request. You may receive:

  • Approximately 3-8 messages before your arrival
  • 1-5 messages during your stay (depending on your requests)
  • 1-2 messages around check-out

Additional messages may be sent in response to your inquiries or if urgent updates are necessary. The exact number of messages depends on the length of your stay and the level of guest support requested.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard text messaging and data rates from your mobile carrier will apply to each SMS message sent or received. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your specific plan and any charges you may incur.

Old Louisville Stay does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may. All carriers are not supported; consult your carrier for details.

6. How to Opt Out (STOP)

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from Old Louisville Stay at any time by:

  • Texting "STOP": Reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message you receive from us
  • Email Request: Send an email to privacy@oldlouisvillestay.com requesting to opt out
  • Phone Request: Call (502) 754-3102 and ask to be removed from SMS communications

After you opt out, you will receive one final confirmation message acknowledging your request. You will not receive any further SMS messages unless you opt back in.

Note: Opting out of SMS messages will not affect your reservation or your ability to receive services. You will continue to receive essential booking confirmations and updates via email.
